quick question if I create an account and use it to play only on test when updates are done will I lose the chars as this account will have no chars on live server

I believe so, since you tend to lose gear you've accumulated on the test server after an update.

Warlgor is right, all changes made to test server are gone when we update it from live. I would not recommand playing there, it's often rebooted and updated too.
