got this message when i use it :

i don't know Target Type: 42 Spell: (8020) Hail of arrows
your target is out of range, get closer!
your spell is interrupted

i got this message in melee range and in bow range, spell is always aborted

I think its an emu issue. I know it didn't work on EZ server.

What is it supposed to do on Live? Never played a ranger.

I believe it suppose to fire a bunch of arrow to cover an area in from of ARCH or CONE in front of the ranger. I believe it maybe fall into category of Cone class spells, which still not implemented in EMu, due to difficulty of math involved in calculation of these spell hit targets.

Could turn it into an AE spell then maybe? Small range?

important part the damage should Bow based with rather complex mechanics

you could alter it, but if you really want to give ranger AOE- just make a new spell =)

It would have to be a pretty powerful spell to make it worth casting instead of auto attack + aa.
