Levitation problems

My wife's druid is experiencing some problems with Levitation.
She'll put it on and she'll bob up and down as normal, the effect shows, but she sinks like a stone. This seems to affect her almost constantly, and happened to me once as well in Dagnor's Cauldron. I've searched the forum and can't find any fixes relating to this.

Is this a common problem? Is there a fix for it?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

edit: just found out it works when I walk backwards, but not forward

edit: and it seems all it took was a little trial and error. turns out whichever way you're looking when you zoom out of first person view is what your levitate is going to work with.
Zoom in, look up, zoom out, and all is well.

using Levitation in 3rd person is deficult becouse the game was orginially intended on 1st person so the spells pathing was also made specifically for 1st person VIA controls. easiest way to avoid further issues is to zoom into 1st person when casting then switch to 3rd.

Also, pgup/pgdn will work in third person (at least the rear view camera third person, not sure about others) to tilt the view up/down.
