T6 Item Balance

Not sure if intended or overlooked but currently out of all T6 instances Ascent item drops seem to have a advantage over the rest of the T6 zone drops.

Mainly due the fact that as far as i know all drops got 2 x 8 , 1 x 16 aug slot,which in the older T6 raid zones only where found on CT/PD drops.

But its not only that which can be seen especially by the weapon drops

The Skullsplitter stat wise has the advantage with 25 more hp/mana/end while the rest of the stats are mostly in advantage for the Staff.
Dmg/Dly ratio wise would the Skullsplitter now in most situations come ahead unless facing mobs that are considered as Dragons.

Another thing which i noticed was that most drops from the other T6 zones (Solusek's Ro Tower/Plane of Tactics) have only 1 Type 8 slot besides that of Solusek and Rallos.
Also the focus effects/procs could use maybe a adjustment ?

Reason for this post is simple in my opinion it takes the least effort/danger (or in case of Tactics money) to get access to Stillmoon drops than the rest.

I don't understand the logic behind asking an item to be slightly nerfed, but that's just me.

Did you see me asking anything to be nerfed ? Or that this is only about one item (i only posted one example)?

I just try to point out that at least in "my opinion" the Reward for doing a "Key mob" in an Instance aimed for a Group shouldn't be on par to the Reward of finishing the final boss of a Raid instance at least augment slot wise.

You should take a look at the classes that can use the wepaon, both weapons werent made for the same classes.

It's not up to me what would need to be done or if it should just left alone, i just pointing out that the risk vs reward is a bit off in the T6 zones.

final boss of each zones always get double slot 8 items
so the items from the tier 6 final boss will be better then the a middle name of tier 7, and the final boss item of t7 will be better then a middle named of tier 8 etc.

I agree that Ascent items are indeed better than drops from T6 raid zones :D My rogue used a dagger he got off some crappy little mini in the first part of ascent over the dagger he looted off Nexona in VP, a dragon that is a tad bit more formidable than some light tanknspank mob in a narrow hallway of a zone :P. The loot in that zone is mighty appealing in risk vs reward compared to VP/Fear. Whether something should be done about it? Meh. I don't think most people even know about the zone - it's kind of out of the way, easy to miss, most people probably see it and don't flag for it because they think it's a T2 zone :P
